Vampires have always been an interest of mine. Anne Rice’s series is without a doubt one of the most influential stories of vampire lore. Her characters are smart, sexy, fallible and most of all timeless. That is what I focused on when redesigning these covers. As time passes the cover becomes weathered and worn but the bite marks stay the same to highlight the plight of all vamps. Living on never changing as the world is born and dies around you.
